Urban Route — NEMT operator project in progress

The outcome

Phone-based dispatch eliminated with full fleet visibility

We keep the story focused on what changed for the business: who can do what now, how the team works differently, and what the numbers say.

  • [ADD METRIC] trips/month processed
  • [ADD METRIC]% reduction in missed pickups
  • [ADD METRIC] drivers live

The challenge

Why the existing way wasn't working

NEMT operators relied on phone calls for dispatch, had no live tracking of drivers, no patient self-service booking, and no automated driver-to-patient updates — resulting in missed pickups and a poor patient experience.

Our approach

How we got from problem to product

Three interconnected apps: Admin (dispatch + fleet overview), Driver (trip management + navigation), Passenger (booking + live ride tracking). Rides sync in real time throughout their lifecycle with adaptive update frequency for battery optimisation.

What we built

The product, the system, the details

Single codebase targeting Web, iOS, and Android. Supabase Realtime for live location and trip status sync. Admin dispatch console, driver trip management with navigation, passenger booking with live ride tracking. Platform-specific builds via GitHub Actions.
